Salary: $47.50-$53.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

As a Community based Oncology Nurse you will:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based oncology and haematology nursing care in the community.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and biological therapies.
• Assess, educate and support patients and their families throughout treatment.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical leadership, maintain best practice standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in oncology or haematology nursing.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy.
• Strong IV cannulation and CVAD management skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and National Police Check.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a community setting.
