Civil Supervisor – FIFO

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering major mining and infrastructure projects across Queensland. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects across the Regional Queensland Area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record supervising large concrete structures crews and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day site operations across all construction activities.
  • Coordinate crews, plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all work fronts.
  • Monitor daily progress and productivity against project schedules. Work closely with the Project Manager, and site leadership team to achieve project objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders on site.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor on civil or mining projects.
  • Strong background delivering concrete structures, roads, haul roads, pads, drainage, and associated civil infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising site-based crews and subcontractors.
  • Open and flexible with travel requirements as per project demands
  • Strong understanding of site productivity, planning, and daily work coordination.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
