Senior Project Engineer

  • $180 – 190k + Super
  • 2:1 Roster
  • Airfield upgrades, camp construction, NPI facilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major infrastructure project.

This is a long-term opportunity to take ownership of a significant construction package as part of a large-scale infrastructure program. The project includes a diverse mix of civil works, including camp construction & airfield-related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering delivery of a major construction package from planning through to completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Manage construction methodologies, work packs, technical documentation, and quality requirements
  • Support project planning, programming, procurement, cost control, and forecasting
  • Monitor site progress and assist with resolving technical and construction issues
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with safety, environmental, quality, and client requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with the broader project team and client representatives

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on major civil, building, infrastructure, remote, or complex construction projects
  • Experience managing large subcontractor packages and multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, programming, procurement, and cost control
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant Civil, Structural, Construction, or Project Engineering qualifications
