Roller Operator

* $52.41 flat rate | 3:1 roster | 11-hour days
* Ongoing civil project work starting ASAP
* Paid travel time!

Zenith Search is currently seeking an experienced Roller Operator for ongoing civil road project work based in Port Hedland.

This role is best suited to someone with a strong civil background and proven experience working across road construction, road upgrades, haul roads, subdivisions, earthworks or Main Roads style projects. You will need to be confident operating a roller in a busy civil environment and understand the importance of working safely and efficiently around other plant, machinery and ground crews.

About the role:

* Operating a roller across civil road construction works
* Working on road upgrades, haul roads and general civil infrastructure projects
* Assisting with compaction works, road preparation and surface works
* Working alongside graders, water carts, loaders, excavators and other civil plant
* Following site plans, levels and directions from supervisors
* Supporting the crew to keep road works moving safely and efficiently
* Working outdoors in hot, dusty and remote site conditions
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with site safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

* Previous roller operating experience
* Civil construction or roadworks experience
* White Card
* HR licence
* Strong commitment to safety
* Reliable and physically fit
* Able to work 11-hour days on a 3:1 roster
* Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
