The Role

As a General Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across all stages of life, with a strong focus on prevention, chronic disease management and improving long-term health outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive, patient-centred general practice services.
• Managing acute and chronic health conditions across a diverse patient population.
• Delivering preventative healthcare, health assessments and care planning.
• Working collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Workers, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Participating in health promotion and community wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and delivering care in accordance with RACGP standards and best practice guidelines.

You’ll become an integral part of a team committed to delivering holistic healthcare that supports individuals, families and the wider community.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
• Fellowship of the RACGP and/or ACRRM.
• Excellent clinical skills across all aspects of general practice.
• Experience working within Aboriginal health, rural or remote medicine (highly regarded but not essential).
• A commitment to culturally safe, patient-centred care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
