The Opportunity
Our client is a reputable company delivering engineering & construction solutions across the infrastructure, resources and energy sectors across Australia.
With a substantial pipeline of work secured and a strong focus on long-term growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a high-performing project team and play a key role in the successful delivery of major civil and mining projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of contract administration across major civil and mining projects.
- Oversee subcontractor management, procurement, variations, claims and progress payments.
- Review and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Support commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control processes.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and subcontractors to drive project outcomes.
- Manage contractual correspondence, notices and risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist with project forecasting, budgets and financial reporting.
- Identify commercial risks and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently.
- Support the successful delivery of projects safely, on time and within budget.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within the civil construction or resources sector.
- Strong experience delivering mining, infrastructure, NPI or bulk earthworks projects.
- Previous experience working on Rio Tinto or BHP projects will be highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, subcontract management, procurement and commercial reporting.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and project teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated, proactive and capable of working autonomously within a fast-paced project environment.
