Project Manager – Underground Infrastructure

About the Company

Our client is a growing Australian gold producer entering an exciting phase of operational growth and project delivery. With continued investment in its underground operations, the business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its owner’s team and lead the successful delivery of key mining and infrastructure projects.

The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in an operational environment. While Perth interaction will form part of the role, this position will be predominantly site-based, working closely with operational and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of underground mining and site infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and execution plans.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, costs and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
• Build strong working relationships across Operations, Technical Services, Engineering and HSE.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Demonstrated experience delivering projects within an underground mining environment.
• Previous experience working for an owner-operator mining business.
• Strong understanding of underground mining operations and sustaining capital projects.
• Excellent contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to influence outcomes on site.
