Zenith Search is currently seeking experienced Heavy Plant & Truck Mechanics for multiple workshop-based opportunities across the Perth metro area.
This is a strong opportunity for trade-qualified mechanics looking for consistent local work, good weekly hours and the chance to move into a permanent role with a well-established business.
Our client has a strong forward workload and is looking to add experienced mechanics to support ongoing maintenance, repairs and fleet requirements.
The Role
You will be working across heavy-duty trucks, road transport equipment and heavy plant, carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and rebuild work as required.
The main focus will be on Cummins engines, drivelines and transmissions, so candidates with strong experience in these areas will be highly regarded.

Duties Will Include
-
Servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and heavy plant
-
Working on Cummins engines
-
Driveline repairs and maintenance
-
Transmission work
-
Fault-finding and diagnostics
-
General workshop duties
-
Supporting ongoing fleet and equipment requirements

Working safely and efficiently within the workshop team
What You Will Need
-
Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Truck Mechanic
-
Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, road transport equipment or heavy plant
-
Cummins engine experience highly regarded
-
Driveline and transmission experience
-
Ability to work in a busy workshop environment
-
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
-
Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week

Experience working across large truck fleets

Previous transport or plant workshop experience
