Parks & Gardens / Landscaping Labourers

• Multiple roles available North & South of the River
• $33-$38/hr depending on experience, licences & tickets

We are currently recruiting for a range of Parks & Gardens, Landscaping and Outdoor Labouring positions working across local councils and established landscaping contractors throughout Perth.

These roles are ideal for candidates with experience in parks maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, tree planting, grounds maintenance or general outdoor labouring.

Roles available include:

• Parks / Reserves Attendants
• Planting Labourers
• Landscaping Labourers
• Grounds Maintenance Workers
• MR / HR Driver Labourers
• Tree Planting & Watering Crews

Duties may include:

• Mowing, whipper snipping, edging and brush cutting
• Tree planting, staking and mulching
• Garden bed preparation and general landscaping
• Turf, parks and reserve maintenance
• Using push mowers, ride-on mowers and pole saws
• Chemical spraying
• Soil preparation and clearing planting areas
• Watering and maintaining trees
• Operating landscaping and horticultural equipment
• General manual labouring
• Driving MR/HR vehicles and towing trailers for relevant roles

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Previous landscaping, parks & gardens, horticulture or outdoor labouring experience
• White Card
• Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence
• Reliable transport
• Good level of physical fitness
• Ability to work outdoors and complete manual duties
• Strong reliability and a good work ethic
• Ability to work well within a team

Highly regarded:

• Previous local council experience
• Ride-on mower experience
• Chemical spraying experience
• MR or HR licence
• Trailer towing experience
• Traffic Management tickets
• Forklift licence
• National Police Clearance

Some roles may require a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, while others may include random site testing.

Positions are available across both North and South of the River, with a mixture of short-term, ongoing and potential temp-to-perm opportunities.

Pay rates range from $33-$38 +pens per hour depending on experience, licences and tickets.
