MEM Boilermaker

• Perth-based 8/6 roster – days only

Zenith Search is currently recruiting for an experienced Boilermaker to join a busy workshop operation based in Forrestfield.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move away from FIFO while still working on heavy mining and earthmoving equipment.

You’ll be working an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, days only, paying $65 per hour, with an ASAP start available.

Key Responsibilities

• Repairs and rebuilds on mobile plant and earthmoving equipment
• Bucket repairs, bucket lids and adaptors
• Replacing wear packages on heavy CAT equipment
• Heavy gouging
• FCAW welding
• AS/RC welding
• Grinding and general fabrication duties
• Working to mining industry safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker
• Strong experience working on mobile plant or mining equipment
• CAT equipment experience highly regarded
• Strong FCAW welding and gouging experience
• Reliable with a consistent work history
• Strong safety focus
• Ability to successfully complete a 3G weld test
• Available to commence ASAP
