Our client is seeking an experienced Aged Care Billing & Accounts Receivable Officer with strong knowledge of residential aged care billing, fees and accounts receivable. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who understands aged care billing and enjoys working in a customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities

• Manage resident billing, invoicing and accounts receivable.
• Process residential aged care fees, charges and payments.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue balances.
• Allocate payments and complete daily banking and bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and account queries.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations, reporting and financial processes.
• Maintain accurate financial and resident records.
• Liaise with residents, families, Finance, Admissions and operational teams regarding accounts and fees.
• Ensure billing practices meet relevant aged care, financial and compliance requirements.

About You

You will have:

• Demonstrated accounts receivable and billing experience, preferably within residential aged care.
• Experience in using PRODA and My Aged Care Portals.
• Sound understanding of Subsidy claims and claims reconciliation experience.
• Sound knowledge of aged care fees, funding, accommodation payments and resident billing.
• Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping, Diploma of Accounting or Bachelor of Accounting is desirable
• Experience in financial administration is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, reconciliation and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence discussing sensitive financial matters with residents and families.
• Experience with financial or aged care billing systems.
• A professional, accurate and customer-focused approach.
