About the Role
This is a hands-on clinical position where you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care across the clinic and community.
You’ll be involved in:
- Acute and emergency presentations
- Clinical assessment and management of deteriorating patients
- Primary health consultations and health assessments
- Adult and child health checks
- Chronic disease management and care planning
- Medication administration and immunisations
- Emergency stabilisation and preparation for evacuation
- RFDS coordination and patient transfers
- Working alongside visiting GPs and specialists
- After-hours/on-call requirements as rostered
About You
We’re looking for an RN who enjoys variety, autonomy and working in a fast-paced remote environment.
You’ll have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- Remote or Emergency nursing experience
- Strong acute assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Confidence managing emergency presentations
- Ability to work independently within a small team
- Excellent communication skills and a culturally respectful approach
- Understanding of primary health care and Aboriginal health
- National Police Clearance and WWCC, or ability to obtain
