The Opportunity
Our client is an Australian-owned civil construction company with a strong reputation for delivering major infrastructure and civil projects across Perth and Western Australia.
With a proven track record in project delivery, strong management systems and a focus on long-term growth, they offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their metro-based team.
This is a permanent position offering a $250,000 base salary + vehicle + super, with the opportunity to take ownership of major projects and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.
The Position
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of major Perth metro civil and infrastructure projects, overseeing project teams, commercial outcomes, programming, client relationships and overall project performance.
This role offers strong long-term career development and the opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibilities as the business continues to grow.
The Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- 10+ years’ experience within the civil construction industry
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager delivering major civil projects
- Strong Perth metro civil/infrastructure experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, programs, contracts and commercial outcomes
- Strong experience managing Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong understanding of QA, HSE, project controls and construction methodologies
- Experience across roads, infrastructure, utilities, structures or other major metro civil projects highly regarded
- Subdivision experience is not essential
- Strong commercial acumen and contractual understanding
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to hit the ground running
- Positive references and a stable employment history
