Decanter / Forklift Operators – Kwinana

• $35/hr + penalties | Monday to Friday day shift

Zenith Search is currently seeking Decanter / Forklift Operators for ongoing seasonal work based in Kwinana, WA

This role will suit reliable candidates with forklift experience, a good attitude and the ability to work safely in a production environment.

The role will start on standard full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with overtime expected to increase as the season gets busier.

The Role

You will be supporting production, dispatch and quality control duties across a busy manufacturing facility.

The work will include forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, wrapping and strapping pallets, completing paperwork and assisting with general production requirements.

Candidates need to be comfortable working around liquid fertiliser and agricultural products. Full PPE will be provided where required.

Duties Will Include

• Forklift operation
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Receiving incoming goods
• Dispatching outgoing goods
• Wrapping and strapping stock onto pallets
• Assisting with quality control procedures
• Completing stock counts when required
• Completing relevant paperwork as directed
• Supporting general production facility duties
• Following safe manufacturing processes and site procedures

What You Will Need

• Forklift ticket and experience
• C-Class driver’s licence
• Own reliable transport
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen before starting
• Full Australian working rights without restrictions
• Ability to work Monday to Friday day shift
• Reliable attitude and good safety awareness
• Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment

Candidates need to be aware this role involves working around liquid fertiliser and agricultural products.

There is no guarantee of a permanent full-time role, however there will be ongoing full-time hours during the season. Reliable candidates may be considered for return work the following season after the end-of-season break.

PPE Required

• Long sleeve hi-vis shirt
• Long pants
• Steel cap boots
• Additional PPE provided on site where required
