Formwork Carpenters & Concreters Wanted | Garden Island Project

We are currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join a major construction project based at Garden Island, Rockingham WA.

This is a great opportunity for experienced tradespeople looking for consistent Monday-Friday work, with Saturday work also available.

💰 Pay Rates

• City-based: $50 per hour + super
• FIFO: $65 per hour + super
• 11 hour days
• Once transitioned to Full-Time – ABN payrate available

🕘 City work Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Saturday work available
• 11 hour paid days

🔨 About the Role

You will be working across a range of concrete and formwork activities, including conventional and plywood formwork. The successful candidates will be confident working from construction drawings and specifications and committed to maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.

✈️ Ongoing FIFO Opportunities

Once the city-based project is completed, upcoming FIFO work will be available for suitable candidates on a Rio Tinto project.

This provides an opportunity to transition from the Garden Island project into ongoing FIFO projects, subject to performance, availability and project requirements.

✅ About You

• Clean NPC within 28 days
• Proven experience in conventional formwork working with plywood
• Experience with PERI formwork systems
• Ability to read and work from plans and specifications
• Clean WA driver’s licence
• Strong construction knowledge and practical skills
• Excellent site safety awareness
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team

🚀 Mobilisation

Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-site inductions prior to commencing the project.
