About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering and planning of a bulk earthworks project on a 2:1 FIFO roster. You’ll be a key part of a capable, hands-on team delivering large-scale earthworks, with real exposure to both the technical and commercial sides of Tier 2 project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of bulk earthworks, including setout, quantities and progress tracking
  • Plan and manage engineering input across the project, working closely with site teams and project management to deliver safely, on time and to specification
  • Lead technical problem-solving across the scope of works
  • Drive project planning and scoping ahead of and between site mobilisations
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders to support project delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, with CPEng or RPEQ chartership viewed favourably
  • At least 7 years working on civil infrastructure projects, with a solid and demonstrated earthworks background (essential)
  • Working knowledge of Australian construction standards and codes
  • A track record of leading teams and mentoring less experienced engineers
  • Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience in contract administration and commercial management
  • Previous FIFO experience
