Pay Rate: $90 per hour + super

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join a multidisciplinary team providing community-based, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed mental health services in Regional WA.

You will work with consumers experiencing a range of mental health concerns, providing assessment, case management and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
• Provide case management and therapeutic interventions
• Support consumers with complex mental health presentations
• Develop and maintain relationships with GPs, hospitals, community health and other service providers
• Participate in multidisciplinary and inter-agency case conferences
• Support prevention, early intervention and mental health promotion activities
• Provide education and support to consumers, families and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures
• Participate in clinical, intake and team meetings
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy
• Current professional registration or relevant professional membership/eligibility
• Strong experience in mental health assessment, case management and therapeutic intervention
• Sound knowledge of mental health and psychological conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working with external agencies and community services
• Current C or C-A Class driver’s licence
• Ability to travel within the region where required
