Zenith Search is currently seeking experienced Pump Fitters for ongoing site-based opportunities across regional Western Australia.

We are looking for trade-qualified fitters with experience across surface or underground pump maintenance, including dewatering systems, pump repairs, fault-finding and general mechanical fitting.

These roles will suit candidates who are confident working autonomously, enjoy being part of a small maintenance team and are looking for consistent long-term site work.

The Opportunity

You will be working across a mix of surface and underground pump systems, supporting ongoing maintenance, repairs, installations and dewatering requirements across site.

Depending on your experience, work may include surface pumping systems, underground dewatering infrastructure, mono pumps, pipework, pump stations and general mechanical maintenance.

The role will suit someone who takes ownership of their work, has good pump knowledge and is comfortable getting involved across broader site maintenance requirements.

• $75 per hour base rate

• Additional $10/hr underground allowance for hours worked underground

• Additional $10/hr night shift uplift for all hours worked on night shift

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and supporting pump systems across site.

The work will include a combination of planned maintenance, breakdown support, fault-finding and mechanical fitting across both surface and underground environments.

Duties Will Include

• Pump maintenance and repairs

• Surface and underground dewatering maintenance

• Fault-finding and diagnostics

• Mechanical fitting work

• Pump rebuilds and component replacement

• Supporting pump stations and dewatering systems

• Assisting with pump installations and change-outs

• Pipework and associated mechanical maintenance

• Working autonomously across site when required

• Supporting a small maintenance crew

• Liaising with supervisors and operations teams

• Maintaining safe work practices and site standards

What You Will Need

• Trade qualification as a Pump Fitter or Mechanical Fitter

• Previous pump maintenance experience

• Mechanical fitting experience

• Surface or underground mining experience highly regarded

• Ability to fault-find and carry out repairs

• Ability to work autonomously

• Ability to work within a small site-based team

• Good safety awareness

• Reliable attitude and work ethic

• Ability to work an 8:6 roster

• Ability to travel to site as required

• Underground dewatering experience

• Mono pump maintenance experience

• Fusion welding experience

• Poly welding experience

• Poly welding / fusion tickets

• Eddy Pump experience

• Gorman-Rupp pump experience

• Pump installation and commissioning experience

• Previous site-based maintenance experience
