About the Opportunity

Zenith Search is partnering with a well-established infrastructure organisation to recruit a Procurement & Contracts Officer to support its ongoing procurement and commercial activities.

Operating across a critical part of Western Australia’s infrastructure network, our client offers the opportunity to work within an experienced team, supporting procurement activities across a diverse range of operational and business requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in procurement or contracts administration who enjoys working with stakeholders, managing supplier relationships and contributing to commercially sound outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and supplier engagement.
• Assist with the preparation, administration and management of contracts and procurement documentation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support commercial negotiations, contract reviews and supplier performance management.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, manage costs and deliver value to the business.
• Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies, governance requirements and commercial objectives.

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience across procurement, contracts administration or a combination of both.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience in procurement, contract administration or a similar commercial role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across a business.
• Sound commercial acumen and an understanding of procurement processes and contractual requirements.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• A proactive approach, good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience within infrastructure, mining, construction or other asset-intensive industries would be advantageous.
