Regional Rail Operations Manager

The Regional Manager Rail Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of rail infrastructure
maintenance activities across the Region.

The role leads track maintenance, Perway, Service & Signal teams, contractors and operational resources to ensure network reliability, asset performance and achievement of organisational safety, financial and service objectives.

The position provides leadership in maintenance execution, workforce management, planning integration, stakeholder
engagement and continuous improvement, while ensuring all activities are delivered in accordance with rail safety
legislation, company standards and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking candidates with:

Significant knowledge of leading maintenance operations in rail, resources or infrastructure environments.

Demonstrated skills in managing large operational teams and contractors.

Strong knowledge of rail safety legislation and maintenance management practices.

Able to manage operational budgets and performance targets.

Demonstrative advanced level in MS Office suite

Current valid driver’s licence.

A Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional accreditation, Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Asset Management, Rail Operations, Maintenance Management or related discipline.
