Child & Family Counsellor – Community Services / Mental Health

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000 per annum + $10,400 remote allowance per year + super + salary packaging options + housing + program vehicle

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• A degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a relevant behavioural science discipline.
• Experience working with at-risk children, young people and families in a case management setting.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic interventions to children, young people and adults impacted by sexual abuse, trauma and violence.
• Knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures and the challenges impacting remote communities.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed, culturally appropriate therapeutic support.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, administration and time management skills.
• A current driver’s licence, Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
