About the Opportunity

Zenith Search is currently recruiting experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators for a well-established, family-owned engineering business operating across Welshpool and Canning Vale.

Our client specialises in heavy steel fabrication and custom engineering solutions, servicing the mining, construction and industrial sectors throughout Western Australia.

Their workshops undertake a wide variety of projects, including the fabrication and repair of mining buckets, tubs, chutes, hoppers, conveyor components and structural steelwork.

With approximately 60 employees and plans for continued growth, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team offering varied work and long-term employment prospects.

The Role

  • MIG and flux-cored welding on mild and heavy steel components.

  • Fabrication and repair of mining equipment, buckets, tubs and chutes.

  • Manufacturing structural steel components, frames and supports.

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

  • Cutting, grinding, fitting and assembling fabricated components.

  • Working across a variety of workshop-based projects.

  • Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Boilermaker/Fabricator.

  • Strong MIG and flux-cored welding experience.

  • Experience with heavy steel fabrication highly regarded.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Mining equipment fabrication or repair experience advantageous.

  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.

  • Willingness to work additional hours when required.
