Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Admissions Officer to support the admission and entry process for residents entering residential aged care. This is a key role in providing a welcoming, professional and seamless experience for older people and their families. They are a highly respected not-for-profit aged care provider in Perth who deliver exceptional care and services.
About the Role
Working collaboratively with Managers, Finance, Customer Service and clinical teams, you will:
- Coordinate and support the residential aged care admissions process, from enquiry through to entry.
- Provide clear and accurate information to customers and families regarding entry requirements, access and residential aged care fees and costs.
- Assess and explain how aged care fees and financial requirements apply to individual customers.
- Ensure contracts, admission documentation and records are accurate, complete and maintained appropriately.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely admissions.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and support to residents and their families throughout the admission process.
About You
You will demonstrate:
- Experience in an Admissions role in residential aged care
- A genuine passion for quality customer service and supporting older people and their families.
- Knowledge and understanding of residential aged care fees and costs, with the ability to explain these clearly to customers.
- Strong attention to detail and business acumen, particularly in relation to contracts, documentation and records management.
- An understanding of relevant compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical and administration team.
- A professional, compassionate and organised approach to your work.
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Western Australian driver’s licence
