Aged Care Physiotherapist
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community-Based Physiotherapist to join our clients growing Allied Health Community and Home Support Team in aged care.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for working with consumers to assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs aimed at meeting their needs and goals. This includes a varying caseload of consumers within the geriatric, neurological, and cardio-respiratory fields, across both HCP and STRC programs.
About You
You’ll share their values and seek a meaningful role that allows you to make a difference in others’ lives. You’ll be flexible, collaborative, and take pride in your work. Additionally, you’ll have:
- A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Prior experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997)
- Experience managing clients in the community with home-based therapy and exercise programs
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to problem-solve and resolve conflict
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support staff
- The ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment
- A current Driver’s Licence
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
