Anaesthetic Technician

Monday to Friday – No Weekend work or Overtime.

$70K – $90K (depending on experience)

30 hours per week – Free parking in highly sought after area

Our client:

A specialist ophthalmic day hospital with over three decades of experience. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to both patients and surgeons, earning a reputation as a leader in ophthalmic surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and ensure proper functioning of anaesthesia equipment and manage inventory of supplies.
• Support anaesthesiologists by preparing medications, setting up infusion systems, and monitoring patient vitals during procedures.
• Continuously observe patients’ responses to anaesthesia and provide post-anaesthesia care and documentation.
• Follow safety protocols, infection control procedures, and stay updated on best practices in anaesthesia.
• Work with medical teams to ensure effective anaesthesia care and communicate with patients and families as needed.

The Successful Candidate:

• Anaesthetic Technician holding a Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology.
• Looking for Permanent Employment.
• Full Australian working rights
• National police clearance.
• Flexible in responding to changing needs of the patients and your team.
