About the Company

Our client has built a fantastic disability support organisation that delivers NDIS-funded services, including behaviour support, to help participants build independence and improve daily living skills. Their behaviour support team focuses on person-centred, evidence-based strategies that aim to reduce challenging behaviours by understanding underlying needs and strengthening positive routines.

You’ll be supported to progress through the NDIS Capability Framework, with clear development pathways, ongoing mentoring, and regular professional development designed to help you reach your next level of practice.

You’ll also enjoy working in an organisation that understands the importance of balancing meaningful work with personal wellbeing. Clinical quality is prioritised over unrealistic KPIs – they have team focused KPI’s, allowing you the time to build strong relationships with participants and deliver high-quality, ethical support.

The Role

This is an opportunity to step into a diverse and rewarding caseload where no two days are the same. Working across homes, schools, supported accommodation, and community settings, you’ll partner with participants, families, support teams, and allied health professionals to deliver person-centred Positive Behaviour Support that makes a genuine difference.

Whether you’re supporting a child to remain engaged at school, coaching support teams to implement proactive strategies, or developing evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans for participants with complex needs, every day presents new challenges, opportunities to grow, and the chance to see the real impact of your work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Work closely with participants, families, and support teams
  • Contribute to reducing restrictive practices in line with best practice
  • Produce high-quality clinical documentation aligned with NDIS requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Psychology, OT, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Counselling, Education or related field)
  • NDIS endorsement as core or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Experience in disability, mental health, or allied health settings
  • Strong report writing and analytical skills
  • A collaborative and reflective approach to practice
  • Current driver’s licence and relevant checks

What’s On Offer

In return, our client offers:

  • Salary: $85K – $115K + Super + Team focused incentives
  • Manageable caseloads with strong administrative support – Team focused KPI’s
  • Structured clinical supervision and ongoing mentoring
  • Clear progression through the NDIS Capability Framework (Core to Specialist)
  • Strong focus on professional development and endorsement support
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance
  • Exposure to diverse and complex behaviour support cases
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
  • Opportunities to contribute to service development and clinical practice
  • Supportive leadership that values clinical input and innovation
