About the Company

Are you passionate about changing lives through positive behaviour support? Looking for a role where you’ll be trusted, supported, and given the opportunity to grow-not just manage a caseload?

This is your chance to join one of Queensland’s most respected providers of Behaviour Support, Allied Health and Community Services. Renowned for delivering exceptional, person-centred outcomes, this organisation has experienced impressive growth almost entirely through word-of-mouth referrals-a reflection of the quality of their work, the strength of their clinical team, and the lasting relationships they build with participants and families.

If you’re looking for a workplace that genuinely values clinical excellence, invests in your development, and gives you the time to do meaningful work, this could be exactly what you’ve been searching for.

The role

This is far more than a typical Behaviour Support Practitioner role.

You’ll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team who are passionate about collaboration, innovation and delivering life-changing outcomes. Whether you’re endorsed at Core level or already practising as an Advanced or Specialist Practitioner, you’ll receive the support, mentoring and professional development needed to continue progressing through the NDIS Capability Framework.

Forget unrealistic KPIs and unmanageable workloads. Here, quality clinical outcomes come first. You’ll have the autonomy to build genuine relationships, apply your clinical expertise, think creatively, and develop evidence-based strategies that create meaningful, lasting change. With a diverse caseload spanning the lifespan, you’ll have the opportunity to support people with a wide range of needs while continuing to grow and thrive as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Key responsibilities include

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact by:

  • Completing comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Developing high-quality Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Designing practical, person-centred strategies that empower participants and those who support them
  • Working collaboratively with families, support teams and allied health professionals
  • Supporting the safe reduction and elimination of restrictive practices through thoughtful fade-out plans
  • Analysing data to measure outcomes and continually refine interventions
  • Creating engaging resources that help participants and their support networks achieve meaningful goals
  • Being part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to best practice

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for practitioners who are passionate about improving lives and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based support.

You’ll have:

  • NDIS Endorsement at Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist level
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Education, Social Science or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong clinical reasoning and report writing abilities
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred practice and positive behaviour support
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary of $85,000 – $120,000 + Super + Fuel Reimbursement + Bonus opportunities up to $6K per annum for reaching KPI’s
  • Hybrid working with genuine flexibility to support work-life balance
  • Exceptional professional development, including ongoing mentoring, paid training, conferences and structured career progression
  • Manageable KPIs that allow you to focus on quality clinical work-not just numbers
  • Weekly one-on-one supervision and mentoring to support your growth and confidence
  • Learn from experienced clinicians within a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • Clear career progression through the NDIS Capability Framework
  • An outstanding team culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, celebrate each other’s success, and are passionate about making a difference
