The Role
Our client is seeking a driven Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their thriving, high-energy team, working across a truly diverse mixed caseload that spans the entire lifespan-from early childhood through to older adulthood. This fast-paced role offers constant variety, with opportunities to work across school, community, and supported living environments, ensuring no two days are the same. You’ll be supported by strong supervision and mentorship within a collaborative team, giving you the chance to rapidly grow your skills, accelerate your career, and make a meaningful impact across every stage of life.
We are looking for practitioners at core level and above however if you are currently endorsed at proficient level then there is an opportunity for further growth into a supervisory position (should this be what you are looking for).
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing Comprehensive, Interim reports and completing Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Working with restrictive practices and creating fade out plans where appropriate
- Working with a multidisciplinary team
- Setting goals and creating strategies to reach clients targets
- Data collection and analysis
What We’re Looking For
- Core or above endorsement as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Previous experience drafting positive behaviour support plans
- Be confident providing direction around the use of restrictive practices
- Interest in working with a mixed caseload – across the lifespan
