This is a dynamic and fun environment where you will be part of a successful team, allowing you the time and space to develop – you can expect regular supervision and weekly one-to-ones where you will have the opportunity to discuss your complex clients, brainstorm, ask for advice and receive help & feedback to develop your reflective practice skills.
The Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their hugely successful NDIS organisation, who are experiencing massive growth – this is due to word of mouth referrals because they deliver outstanding, high quality services to their clients, who they care deeply about.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing Comprehensive and Interim reports
- Completing functional behaviour assessments
- Working with restrictive practices and creating fade out plans where appropriate
- Creating resources
- Working with a multidisciplinary team
- Setting goals and creating strategies to reach clients targets
- Data collection and analysis
What We’re Looking For
- Current driving licence and own vehicle
- Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist NDIS endorsement + Practitioner number
- Relevant clearances to work in the NDIS field
- A drive to progress through the NDIS endorsement
- Great attitude with excellent communication skills
