The Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and motivated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their thriving and rapidly growing NDIS team. Their continued success has been driven almost entirely by word-of-mouth referrals-a testament to the exceptional, person-centred support they provide and the genuine relationships they build with participants, families, and the wider community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing Comprehensive and Interim reports
- Completing functional behaviour assessments
- Working with restrictive practices and creating fade out plans where appropriate
- Creating resources
- Working with a multidisciplinary team
- Setting goals and creating strategies to reach clients targets
- Data collection and analysis
What We’re Looking For
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist) or eligibility to become registered.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social Science, Education, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within the disability, mental health, community, or allied health sectors.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing abilities.
- A commitment to person-centred and evidence-based practice.
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current Working with Children Check
