About the Company
A rare and exciting PBS Leadership opportunity has become available for a Behaviour Support Service Delivery Manager in Perth, working for one of WA’s most successful and PBS Practices. They have a fantastic reputation and an abundance of proficient, advanced & specialist level practitioners in their organisation.
The Role
As the PBS Service Delivery Manager, you will serve as the clinical lead, providing expertise in risk management and advanced behaviour support strategies. You will mentor and support Team Leaders to embed best practice and build capability within their teams. You will also be responsible for setting and maintaining clinical standards, ensuring excellence in service delivery, and driving continuous improvement across the service.
A typical week in this senior leadership position includes team supervision sessions, handling escalations (e.g. crisis situations), checking KPIs + service performance to ensure financial viability.
You will have the option to manage a small caseload, which provides eligibility to earn additional bonuses. This is entirely optional and can be taken on if you wish to increase your earning potential.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Drive the expansion of PBS services across your geographical area
- Develop and implement service delivery frameworks that balance clinical excellence with operational efficiency
- Lead recruitment, on-boarding, and professional development for BSP practitioners
- Build and maintain relationships with NDIS partners, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders
2. Operational Excellence
- Oversee caseload management for regional teams (current client-to-practitioner ratio)
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards
- Monitor KPIs including utilisation rates, billable hours, and client outcomes
- Manage divisional budget including marketing allocation and CPD investments
3. Clinical Governance
- Maintain NDIS PBS registration and ensure all practitioners meet AHPRA/professional body requirements
- Oversee quality assurance processes and participate in internal/external audits
- Drive innovation in service delivery, including Virtual Reality therapy integration
- Ensure evidence-based practice across all PBS interventions
4. Team & Clinical leadership (the “expert”)
- You’re the go-to person for complex behaviours, risk management & advanced behaviour strategies – mentor and support team leads and practitioners
- Set the clinical standards and ensure clinical delivery at the highest level
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and clinical excellence
- Facilitate regular supervision, case consultation, and professional development
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant Qualification in an allied health background Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
- Experience in delivering Positive Behaviour Support services and leading a team
- Working with Children’s Check, NDIS Clearance and current Driving License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission
- Registration with NDIS as a PBS practitioner – proficient, advanced or specialist
