Blast Hole Drillers

We are currently seeking experienced Drill & Blast Operators to join our growing FIFO operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm role with strong earning potential and long-term career progression.

This position is offered on a 2:1 OR 2:2 FIFO roster, working across established iron ore/gold sites with consistent workloads and supportive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drill rigs safely and efficiently to meet production targets

  • Drill blast holes to design specifications and site requirements

  • Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance

  • Work closely with blast crews and supervisors to ensure accurate drill patterns

  • Maintain strict adherence to site safety procedures and standards

About You:

  • Must be able to fly to site from Perth airport only

  • Proven experience as a Drill & Blast Operator in a mining production environment

  • Demonstrated experience operating Epiroc D65 and T45 drill rigs

  • Strong understanding of drill patterns, ground conditions, and production targets

  • Proven experience operating Sandvik D1650i, DP1500i, DR410i and CAT MD6250 a bonus

  • Commitment to safety and teamwork

  • Current Manual C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)

  • Must have Permanent residency OR citizenship in Australia/NZ

  • Current relevant tickets and licences for relevant machinery
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, D&A, and police check
