Zenith Search is seeking an experienced Child Health Nurse for a rewarding opportunity in a remote Aboriginal community in Western Australia. With a 6:2 FIFO roster, $135,000 salary and your own accommodation, this opportunity offers the chance to do rewarding clinical work without compromising on your time off.

About the Role

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support the health and development of children and families through a combination of clinic-based care, school health services, preventative health and community education.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting child health assessments and developmental screening.

• Coordinating childhood immunisations and routine health checks.

• Supporting children with complex health needs and coordinating follow-up care.

• Delivering health promotion, family education and school health services.

• Collaborating with families, community members, schools and visiting health professionals.

• Contributing to culturally safe, accessible and responsive healthcare for the local community.

About You

You’ll be a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who is passionate about improving health outcomes for Aboriginal children and families.

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• A Child and Family Health qualification and/or relevant paediatric or child health nursing experience.

• Experience in primary healthcare, community health or remote nursing (highly regarded).

• An understanding of culturally safe care and the importance of community-led healthcare.

• Strong communication, assessment and care coordination skills.

• The confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
