Civil Project Manager

We’re looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead exciting projects with a family-owned civil contractor we’re partnering with. You’ll oversee a diverse portfolio, including working with local councils and the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) across Queensland. Manage key DTMR, concrete, and bridge projects with both local and FIFO opportunities available.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and relationships are maintained.
  • Oversee project quality standards, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Ability to support and implement strategies to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Experience in maintaining and monitoring project progress.
  • Conducting investigations, and designing solutions to meet project objectives.
  • DTMR, Concrete and/or Bridge experience.
