The Client:

Our client has built an excellent reputation in the area of Residential Aged Care and they are a well respected provider who have a wonderful company culture. They invest heavily in staff development, progression and your career. They deliver high quality care and have a stable and strong clinical support team. They are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to be part of this hugely successful team and facility. You will be an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager or Clinical Care Coordinator looking to take the next step and have the ability to lead and take control of the clinical aspects of the facility.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Provide strong clinical and care leadership to deliver safe, high-quality person-centred care
  • Work collaboratively with the Facility Manager to drive operational and clinical success
  • Ensure all clinical care is delivered in line with the aged care standards
  • Lead and support the clinical team to drive clinical excellence
  • Support with staff leadership, training and education
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care legislation, regulations and industry guidelines
  • Analyse clinical incidents and audit outcomes to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents
  • Oversee medication management, review clinical incidents and contribute to clinical governance audits

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience within residential aged care
  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
  • A collaborative and solutions focused leadership style
  • The ability to influence, engage and build trust at all levels
