The Role:
- Support the Facility Manager by providing leadership and mentoring, with a clear focus on quality outcomes
- Coordinate nursing services and care to meet care outcomes
- Actively support and lead the clinical team and care staff
- Be a visible, hands-on Clinical Lead fostering positive relationships with staff, residents and families
- Ensure the facility functions in line with Residential Aged Care quality standards, legislation, auditing, compliance and bet practice guidelines
- Undertake assessments, create care plans and nursing interventions in partnership with consumers and/or their representatives, in line with consumer needs and preferences, professional guidelines and organisational processes.
- Liaise with medical, allied health, pharmacies, service providers and equipment providers to ensure a holistic, comprehensive delivery of care.
- Document and report care interventions, observations, changes in needs and consumer feedback in a accurate, objective and efficient manner.
- Coordinate staff as required on a shift-by-shift basis
- Assist in the review and dissemination of clinical policies, procedures and assessment tools under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Provide clinical advice and education to persona l care staff to ensure appropriate care.

The successful candidate will have:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- A passion and empathy for working with older residents and their family
- Attention to detail and good communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- National Police Clearance
- Proof of 2024 Influenza vaccination and covid vaccinations
- NDIS Clearance
