Clinical Nurse Manager – Relocate to Regional WA

- Residential Aged Care – Not for Profit
- Regional Location – WA (relocation assistance available)
- Competitive hourly rate $70 plus per hour with regional allowance)
- Accommodation subsidised up to 6 months
- Monday to Friday – Permanent Full time position
- Potential Sponsorship available for AHPRA registered nurses who are in Australia or NZ but must have had Clinical Management experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide strong clinical leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff, fostering a positive team culture focused on excellence in person-centred care.
- Oversee clinical governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements, legislative obligations and organisational policies, while proactively managing clinical risk and quality outcomes.
- Lead the development, implementation and ongoing review of comprehensive care plans, conduct complex clinical assessments and reviews, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident wellbeing and service delivery.
- Coach, mentor and develop clinical teams through education, performance feedback and professional development, building capability, promoting best practice and supporting staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, General Practitioners, allied health professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure individualised care planning, effective communication and positive health outcomes.
- Monitor clinical indicators, medication management, wound care, infection prevention and control, incident management and documentation to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice are consistently achieved.
- Support workforce planning, rostering, recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff while promoting staff engagement, retention and a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Champion a resident-first approach by promoting dignity, choice and independence, ensuring residents and their families are actively involved in care decisions and service improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse Manager, Care Manager or senior clinical leadership role within aged care.
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
