The Opportunity:
Our client is a well-established Australian civil and electrical construction company, serving both public and private sectors for over 40 years. This long-standing history demonstrates their strong and sustainable business foundation.
We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the team and assist in delivering projects across Perth and the metropolitan area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Project team in meeting commercial and contractual requirements.
The Position:
- Create and manage contract documents and notices with the Project team.
- Process client payments, assess subcontractor claims, and compile monthly reports.
- Assist with preparing, reviewing, and submitting claims.
- Handle the contract management system, including client correspondence.
- Manage the contract system for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support subcontractor evaluation and setup.
The Requirements:
- A background in Construction, Building and Heavy industries is required.
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar is ideal.
- Po-active, Collaborative, ability to work with various teams (Legal)
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
- Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to read, understand and apply contractual terms, conditions, and clauses.
- Effective organisation and planning skills.
