Director of Care – Aged Care

• $155K – $165K + Super + $18,500 Salary Packaging
• Leadership role within Residential Aged Care
• Lead an Established Home with Executive Support

Our client is seeking a Director of Care/Clinical Nurse Manager to join their registered residential aged care organisation and work in collaboration with the Residential Aged Care Manager. This is a well-run established residential provider in Melbourne where you will work with senior leadership and teams across the home to enhance quality outcomes for residents. In this role you will provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical care, quality, compliance and resident wellbeing with support from Clinical Care Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong clinical leadership and oversight of care delivery across the organisation.
• Lead and support nursing and care teams to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
• Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, clinical governance, risk management and quality outcomes.
• Oversee assessment, care planning, clinical documentation and monitoring of resident outcomes.
• Support and develop staff through effective leadership, mentoring, education and performance management.
• Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.

What you will bring:

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) registration.
• Experience in residential aged care and clinical leadership.
• Knowledge of aged-care legislation, clinical governance, quality and compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management capability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and risk management.
• A genuine passion for delivering compassionate, dignified and person-centred care.
