Dump Truck Operator – Permanent Positions – QLD

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have partnered with a major mining contractor to support them with the production operations across their Queensland Coal Mining contracts. The miner has a well-known industry brand with a strong focus on employee wellbeing, development, safety, and production outcomes across their operations.

This role is for the Dump Truck Operator looking to establish a long-term career with an established mining contractor on a site with an extensive life of mine. Direct Permanent Hire.

Roster: 7/7 BIBO (Bus in Bus Out)

Location: Central Queensland, BIBO from Townsville and Mackay ONLY

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITY

Previous production experience operating CAT 793, Hitachi EH5000 or similar sized Mechanical/Electrical Haul Trucks is essential.

• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Previous experience in busy open pit mining operations
• VOC or RII Training Competency Desirable
• National Police Clearance
• Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11
• Able to Pass Onboarding Process Including Medical and Reference Checks
