Environmental Advisor – FIFO

Our client, a leading gold producer in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Senior/Environmental Advisor to join their established operation in an 8:6 FIFO from Perth role.

Reporting to the Manager Environmental, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable mining operations while maintaining environmental compliance across site.

The Position:

  • FIFO 8:6 role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and improvement of Environmental Management Systems
  • Management of site monitoring programmes and compliance databases
  • Land access coordination and stakeholder consultation
  • Contractor supervision and environmental programme delivery
  • Development of land rehabilitation programmes
  • Stakeholder relationship management
  • Environmental best practice promotion across site

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Management
  • Proven experience in mining, industry or government environmental roles
  • Current Manual Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance

Desired Experience:

  • Environmental team experience
  • Compliance reporting and approvals documentation
  • Environmental auditing and monitoring
  • Understanding of environmental regulations
