Fabricator / Welder

Zenith Search are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder for an immediate start with a well-established engineering business based in Maddington.

This role will suit a trade-qualified Fabricator / Welder who has strong experience reading drawings, working with a range of materials, and producing high-quality work for mining and heavy equipment applications.

  • $55.00 per hour flat rate
  • Monday to Friday roster
  • 50-hour working week
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person

  • Workshop-based role in Maddington
  • Long-term opportunity with consistent hours

About the role:

  • Fabrication and welding of aftermarket replacement mining parts
  • Equipment repairs and component work for heavy-duty mining applications
  • Working with stainless steel, aluminium, and other materials
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
  • Producing reliable, high-quality work to suit demanding mining conditions
  • General workshop duties as required

To be considered, you will need:

  • Trade qualification as a Fabricator / Welder
  • Strong MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience
  • Ability to read and work from drawings
  • Experience with stainless steel, aluminium, and general fabrication materials
  • C-Class driver’s licence
  • Own reliable transport
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong safety focus and reliability
