Dump Truck Operators – FIFO | 2/1 Roster

We are urgently seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for multiple FIFO production mining operations. These are long-term opportunities with strong potential to transition onto the client’s books after approximately 3 months.

Operators with electric truck experience are highly sought after, however mechanical truck operators looking to move into electric trucks will be considered and trained.

Pay

• $57 – $63 per hour depending on experience

• Higher rates for Electric Truck Operators

• 12 hour paid shifts

• Fly-in day paid at 12 hours

• Mechanical operators transitioning to electrics paid at lower rate during training ($57)

Experience Required

• Previous Dump Truck operating experience in production mining

• Experience on:

  • Komatsu 830E

  • Terex MT4400

  • CAT 785

  • CAT 785

  • Komatsu 785

• Minimum 12-18 months mining experience preferred

• Operators with mechanical truck experience wanting to transition to electric trucks are encouraged to apply

Sites Available / Site Information

Multiple established iron ore and gold operations offering stable long-term work.

Roster

• 2/1 FIFO roster

• 12 hour shifts

Fly Day Options

• Some rosters fly Monday afternoon for Tuesday morning inductions

• Others fly Tuesday or Wednesday depending on roster

• Flights operate via charter services from Perth

• Some sites utilise smaller charter aircraft (10-seater)

Travel

• Flights into regional airports followed by paid bus transfer to site

• Travel time varies depending on operation

• Short bus runs from camp to site (approx. 10 minutes on some sites)

Operations

• Production mining environments

• Multiple ore and waste pits

• Truck cycle times typically 18 minutes – 1 hour depending on pit location

• Crews ranging in size site dependent – Let us know what crews you like
