FIFO Electrician

  • Earn $80/hr + sick pay & holiday pay on a consistent 2:1 FIFO roster
  • Work on a major Pilbara project delivering critical water infrastructure
  • Hands-on role with pumps, PLC/SCADA systems & high-quality electrical work

    FIFO ex Perth, WA
    2:1 Roster (Days Only)
    4-Month Fixed Task Contract
    Start: End of April / Early May

We’re currently seeking experienced Electricians with a strong background in water infrastructure and systems to join a major project in the Pilbara. This is a great opportunity to work within a specialised team delivering critical water supply and distribution systems across site.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installation, commissioning & maintenance of electrical systems on pumps and water infrastructure
  • Fault finding & repairs on submersible, centrifugal & booster pumps
  • Cable installation, terminations, switchboards, control panels & MCCs
  • Maintaining & calibrating instrumentation (flow meters, pressure sensors, SCADA/PLC systems)
  • Working on heat tracing, cathodic protection systems & valve actuators
  • Completing preventative maintenance across water-related electrical assets
  • Following strict isolation procedures (LOTO/LOTOTO) & safety standards
  • Accurate reporting, job cards & maintenance documentation

Tickets & Requirements

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • White Card
  • C Class Driver’s Licence
  • First Aid (within 3 years)
  • LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
  • 4WD Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Rio Tinto / Aveling training (or willing to complete prior to mobilisation)
