Our client:

Our client has a has forged an excellent reputation in delivering high quality care to their clients in the community aged care, mental health and NDIS sectors. You will be expected to visit the other locations so that you can build strong relationships and connections with the local hiring manager and their team. They designed a business structure that focuses less on management and hierarchy and more on the things that matter such as building meaningful relationships and helping their clients and communities!

The exciting opportunity:

This is a “finance business partner” role like no other due to their fluid organisational structure. This is a very rewarding environment where you will be empowered and supported to make great decisions based on data integrity with the guidance of your peers if required. You will be visiting the local offices and building strong relationships with key stakeholders where you will be the finance partner. This means that you will enthusiastically translate knowledge to leaders, team members and finance colleagues to maximise efficiencies, continuous improvement and outcomes.

Your role will include duties such as:

  • Month end processing, reconciliation, financial reporting, analysis, and insights.
  • Statutory reporting (BAS, FBT, etc).
  • Year End Audit and Financial statements including funding acquittals.
  • Participate in delivering annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Cash flow forecast and support treasury management.
  • Participate in advancing processes, systems, and controls for continuous improvement.
  • Data and business analysis relative to performance outcomes.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Financial Accountant OR Management Accountant OR Finance Business Partner experience.
  • Qualified CA, CPA, CIMA or part qualified with 3+ years’ experience.
  • Must be passionate about working in NFP and delivering care to the community.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles.
  • Experience in MS Office suite of products, superior Excel skills and intuitive ERP system skills.
  • Power BI and other business intelligence knowledge advantageous.
  • The right can do attitude to get out the office and offer financial acumen on-site.
