A well-established and growing Western Australian gold producer is seeking an experienced General Manager – Geology to lead geology operations across a high-performing gold operation. This is a senior leadership appointment sitting within the operational leadership team, with genuine scope to influence resource growth, production outcomes and life-of-mine strategy at an established operation.

About the Role

As a key member of the operational leadership team, you will hold executive accountability for all geological functions across the operation. You will set the strategic direction for mine geology, grade control and resource development while building a high-performing geology function aligned to business objectives.

This role sits at the intersection of technical excellence and operational leadership – you will need to be equally comfortable in front of a resource model as you are leading a team and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop and retain a high-performing site geology team
• Provide executive-level technical input into life-of-mine planning and production strategy
• Hold accountability for Mineral Resource definition, growth and reporting standards
• Ensure full compliance with WHS, environmental and all relevant regulatory requirements
• Partner with Operations leadership to optimise ore recovery, reconciliation and dilution management
• Set and drive the geological strategy across mine geology, grade control and resource development
• Establish and maintain geological data quality, modelling standards and compliance frameworks

About You

You are a senior geology professional who has operated at or near Geology Manager level and is ready to step into a broader, executive-scoped role. You bring deep technical credentials alongside the leadership presence to drive performance across a complex operation.
