General Practitioner

• $355,000 – $395,000 plus relocation + $50,000 housing allowance + car allowance
• Regional Western Australia outback mining town only six hours from Perth
• Manage a Super Clinic and provide clinical leadership

GENERAL PRACTITIONER

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, working closely with the Practice Manager to ensure efficient and effective care and service delivery.
• Offer clinical leadership and support to General Practitioners, Primary Health Care Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Allied Health Practitioners, and Students, as applicable.
• Create team spirit encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration and clinical excellence by motivating and developing each clinician both individually and as part of the team.
• Address clinical issues at the practice level for all clinical team members.
• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and meet accreditation standards.=.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to support the development, implementation, and review of practice processes and procedures.
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff.
• Oversee the training of clinical employees and students (medical, nursing, and allied health), ensuring compliance with relevant university and college requirements. Ensure all medical documentation is clear, accurate, and effective.

Base Salary: between $355,000 $380,000 (Dependent on experience)

Senior Medical Practitioner Allowance: $14,563.34

Housing and Utilities: $50,862

Professional Development Allowance: $36,797

Motor Vehicle Allowance: $12,869

Skills and Experience Required:

• MBBS and unconditional registration with AHPRA
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general practice or primary health care
• Proven ability to achieve targets and work within a continuous improvement framework
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen, influence, and mentor others

Desirable:

• Registered GP Supervisor
• Vocational Registration (not mandatory)
