General Practitioner (GP) – Aboriginal Medical Service

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced General Practitioner to join their dedicated clinical team.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services across all age groups
• Conducting assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing patient management
• Delivering preventative health care and chronic disease management programs
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with medical standards
• Supporting culturally safe and community-led healthcare delivery

You will work closely with an experienced clinical and administrative team and be supported within a structured and collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
• Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM (or eligibility to obtain)
• Doctors from Level 2 supervision onwards are encouraged to apply
• Supervision is available, with strong clinical support provided for doctors progressing toward Fellowship
• Demonstrated experience working as a General Practitioner
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to culturally safe healthcare delivery
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

What’s On Offer

In return, our client offers an outstanding remuneration and benefits package including:

• Base salary: $258,400 per annum
• Home allowance: $26,000 per annum ($500 weekly)
• Car allowance: $15,600 per annum ($300 weekly)
• Superannuation guarantee: $30,000 per annum
• Medicare commission: 50% of billings above $25,000 monthly target
• Relocation assistance: up to $5,000 (negotiable)
• Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum
• Additional entertainment benefit up to $2,600 per annum
• Strong clinical support and supervision framework
