The Opportunity:

Work for a leading WA Civil Construction contractor who specialise in delivering technically complex and challenging projects within heavily urbanised environments.

We are seeking a HSEQ Advisor who is looking for their next metro-based opportunity.

This role is Monday to Friday and will be predominantly site based at various projects around the metro area.

The Position:

  • Update, implement and drive safety procedures, policies, SWMS, and processes
  • Conduct audits, site inspections and walkthroughs
  • Assist with incident investigation, reports and actions
  • Attend and actively participate in pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
  • Liaise and interact with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors in HSE desirables
  • Assist operational teams in complying with the HSE Management system
  • Develop and implement new HSE initiatives
  • Communicate HSE requirements to project teams
  • Support risk identification and management processes to ensure risk of work activities

The Requirements:

  • Diploma/Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety minimum or Tertiary training;
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Civil Construction Industry;
  • Working knowledge of HSE and Work Cover requirements and implementation;
  • Knowledge of process auditing principles and practices;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders and all levels of the business;
  • A strong passion for delivering safety and quality;
  • Computer literacy skills and competent with MS Office;
  • Valid drivers licence;
