HSE Advisor

  • FIFO AND METRO

About the Role

We are currently partnering with leading mining, civil, infrastructure and industrial contractors to recruit experienced HSE Advisors for a range of FIFO projects across Western Australia.

These are permanent opportunities offering excellent salaries, supportive site teams and long-term career progression. Projects include various civil score and mining.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across site.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
  • Review and monitor SWMS, JHAs and permit systems.
  • Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.
  • Coach leaders and work crews on WHS compliance and best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with client, legislative and company HSE requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with supervisors, subcontractors and operational teams.

About You

  • Experience as an HSE Advisor within mining and civil construction
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
  • Experience conducting audits, investigations and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • ICAM Investigation qualification and First Aid are highly regarded
